Sept. 13 & 22 – The Raices (Hispanic) Alumni chapter is sponsoring two evenings at Home Depot Center. Watch Chivas USA vs. LA Galaxy on Sept. 13 for $20. Tickets are also on sale for Chivas USA vs. Kansas City on Sept. 22 for $20. A two-game package deal is $35. Tickets will go quick.  IT Training and Leadership Orientation Sessions
Sept. 15 – The College of the Extended University is hosting orientation sessions from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for IT Training & Leadership as well as Leadership & Supervisory Training. The free events will be held at Cal Poly Pomona's Center for Training, Technology and Incubation (Bldg. 220B). Participants will hear an overview of the new IT Training and Leadership course curricula and can meet with the program managers to discuss the courses and certificate programs.  Food Management Certificate for Food Handlers
Sept. 25 – The College of the Extended University is offering an intensive one-day course highlighting basic principles of safe food preparation and handling as stated in the FDA Food Code. The course will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cal Poly Pomona's Center for Training Technology & Incubation.  Alumni Association Golf Tournament

 15th Annual Pumpkin Festival
Oct. 20-21 – Activities include an Insect Fair, petting zoo, horse rides, entertainment and a variety of food and game booths sponsored by student clubs.
