Alumni Calendar
The Office of Alumni Affairs recently hosted a series of events on campus (and at a local golf course) for alumni to stay involved with their alma mater. Events included the Distinguished Alumni Awards banquet June 6 and the semi-annual Professor for a Day event May 8 where representative alumni from several colleges turned out for a day back in class — this time, as professors.

Maria Sandoval '94, Marketing

Maria Sandoval '94, marketing, says she was inspired to return to campus life as an active alumna because of her positive experiences as an undergrad at Cal Poly Pomona.

The 31-year-old loan consultant and Fullerton resident is one of four new Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association board members recently elected to begin serving a three-year term on July 1. Read more...

Japanese Garden Now Complete
The George and Sakaye Aratani Japanese Garden was officially unveiled June 28. The garden fosters an appreciation of nature and Japanese culture as well as reflects the university's interest in international education.
