Winter Campus Forum Series
February 4, 11, and 18 – The university's Campus Forum series brings speakers to campus to discus topics of current and pertinent interest to the community. These forums are free and open to the public. All forums are scheduled at noon in the Bronco Student Center. Click here for more details.

Best Ceramic & Print Artists in Western U.S. Showcased in Ink and Clay
Through February 14 – The W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery is currently showcasing "Ink and Clay 30." The exhibit features 102 pieces of ceramic works, prints and drawings from the best 38 ceramic and 34 print artists in the Western United States. The competition was judged and curated by Hollis Goodall, curator of Japanese Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Read more ...

Founders' Celebration 2004 to Feature Smothers Brothers
February 29 – The annual Founders' Celebration falls on leap day, and the event promises to be spectacular with this year's entertainment, the Smothers Brothers. Founders' Celebration is the university's premier social and support event of the year, a special evening honoring university partners in support of the educational mission and future vision of the university. Proceeds allow Cal Poly Pomona to expand its endowment fund to provide scholarships and other academic enhancements. Read more...

First All-Class Year CME Alumni Gathering
April 24 – Although the reunion isn't until April, alumni are encouraged to RSVP by Feb. 15 for the chemicals and materials engineering class reunion. Last year, a class of '88 reunion was held and due to positive response, the department intends to make it annual and open it to all CME grads. Read more...

University's History Linked to Fond Memories at Small School for Boys in San Dimas

Avon Carlson was an agriculture student at the California Polytechnic School in San Luis Obispo in the summer of 1938 when university president Julian McPhee asked him to drive a stake-sided truck loaded with filing cabinets and books down to the former Voorhis School for Boys in San Dimas. University Co-sponsors L.A. Philharmonic Performance
One of the world's premier orchestras, the Los Angeles Philharmonic will return for a fifth consecutive year to the First Baptist Church of Pomona as part of a special regional performance. The concert is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. Through the support of local sponsors, including Cal Poly Pomona, tickets will be available at the discount price of $5 each. Read more...

Imagine your Tournament of Roses float design being viewed by millions at the 2005 parade in Pasadena, plus winning two tickets to the Rose Bowl or $250 in cash.
