As a good networking resource and campus reconnection outlet, Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association chapters serve the cultural and practical interests of alumni. Alumni can choose from nine active chapters* — or perhaps even form a new one. Chapter activities benefit not only the members themselves, but also the university and Cal Poly Pomona students as well.

| Raíces President: Edwin Romero '01, Behavioral Science The Raíces Alumni Chapter was founded in 1988 by Chicano/Latino alumni and serve to cultivate partnerships with the corporate sector, community organizations, and dedicated individuals. Raíces alumni are united in their commitment to the educational development of the Chicano/Latino student. The four main objectives of the Raíces Alumni Chapter are improving the professional development Chicano/Latino alumni through information and social change; providing financial and moral support to students; providing information on available scholarship programs and employment opportunities; and being a viable resource to Cal Poly Pomona.
